This has been my 17th woodcock season and discounting the first few due to lack of experience, this has been the worst. Hunting now in SC which stays in until month’s end. Found a few birds yesterday, hunted solo, and while the MuttPak shined brightly, the shooter didn’t. Caveat to the photo: lie by omission. More than two hulls hit the ground. Due to NIL (Name, Image, and Lunch, as in “what’s for lunch?) dispute with the MuttPak, photos of them withheld. They have also threatened to enter transfer portal unless my shooting gets better. Woodcocks are not hard to hit. They're just so easy to miss !!!

May God bless America and those who defend her.

The gloves are actually thin deer skin, and used because my use of an 81mg. aspirin makes me bleed when simply scratched in the uplands. Those of us that are well north of 70 will understand!

I stopped taking aspirin a few years ago when they said that people over 70 should stop taking it. I had one doctor put me back on baby aspirin, but they made me cough up blood. So I stopped taking it. But for many, many years any little scratch I got, I would really bleed. So I know where you're coming from. I recently discovered using Super Glue for these little cracks I get at the end of my fingers. They get so sore to the point where I can hardly pick anything up. I get them every winter, but now, I put a dab of Super Glue on them and the pain instantly goes away. The super glue stays on for about 3 or 4 days. It works great and acts like the wound is immediately healed. I use it on all small cuts.
