I bought myself a Beretta Explor. I hate it. It shouldn’t be long in my possession. A shame really, it’s exactly what I was looking for. But, the safety is too far forward when wearing gloves. So, adios. Prolly get a SBE lll before I head to Iceland. You couldn't figure that out before you bought it? JR 😂😂😂

Sure I could. It was just like the any number of guns that you have purchased and promptly gotten rid of over the years.
It’s a shotgun. Not a wife.
Out there doing it best I can.

I've never, in 66 years of shotgunning, bought a shotgun and "promptly gotten rid of" it. You're speaking a foreign language AFAIAC.
But then, I don't buy them on a whim, either.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

That was for John.
It’s a nice shotgun. But the ergonomics for upland gunning won’t work for me.
Lots of alternatives out there. No reason to fight the thing.
Out there doing it best I can.

Then again, I never thought of a Super Black Eagle as an upland gun, either.
Oh well, one man's meat is another man's poison.

For Christmas I scored a brand new discontinued Galco canvas and leather gun case. More importantly, rather than what was under the tree, it was friends and family gathered around the tree! Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year! Karl

It reminded me of a card my oldest grandson made for me some 15-16 years ago at about age 7 or 8. You already know this, Stan, but you have yourself a treasure there.

I got a digital hygrometer for my safe. A simple 40 watt bulb keeps it at 30% and 74.6 degrees. The wonder rod I used to have ended up getting dangerous. The rubber end got so hot it completely melted. So I decided to go with the light bulb a couple years ago. Looks like it's working fine. The light bulbs last about six months and I have enough stored up to keep me going for a several years.

Stan, I understand why his note means so much to you. Mike
