Pretty tough to get around the fact that guns are the lightening rod of politics. The subjects cross at various junctions whether we like it or not. The owner lets those discussions go on for a bit, and if it gets too rancorous the plug gets pulled. If somebody literally doesn’t go to a hobby site on the internet that Albert Gore Jr. invented because they might hear something about politics or, an unrelated subject (*) I’m guessing that is their prerogative, and, likely, their loss.
So be it. There are sites that they will be much happier at. Never figured everybody would like that bar that I love, either.

* Hockey, motorcycles. Trying to remember but, I don’t recall any vocal complaints when the subject of beer, or, booze came up.
You can make excuses for all the poor behavior you like...all it does is provide support for the fact that criticizing that poor behavior is just as valid here as the poor behavior itself.
