So I spent a day looking on my own and didn’t really find anything definite. What pray. tell is a 25 Durham?
And then I ask, why/ what’s the story behind it or the choice?
Mind you I have some obscure wildcats that I shoot, but in my case, they come with the benefit of buying a very nice rifle at a very discounted used price.
I have a 257 Kimber/25 Ingram/25 to 222 mag that I am not even sure what the real specification is, but I think it is on the opposite end of the 25 spectrum

The 25 Durham appears to be based on the 243 cartridge, which of course is the same case as 260 REM, 7MM-08, 308, & 338 Federal. I didn’t take the time to look up the history or who Durham might be.
