I think the small action is still in development. I bought a standard size action.

It doesn’t get much better than this. The rifle is a Jerry Fisher custom gun chambered in 25 Durham. The gun weighs just under 6 pounds with scope and sling…

What breed are your dogs, SKB? I'm not that great at guessing breeds but, I would guess the one is a Springer. A unique color of mostly white with a dark head. Is the other a Brittany? Can you tell us about them? Thanks.

Nice gun, Shrapnel. I have been seeing a lot of 101s lately at the gun shows. Not very many at all with the straight grip. And most I have seen are 12s. Kind of a rare gun from what I see. Good luck.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, Tucker on the right is my fourth Field Bred English Springer Spaniel, he is hard driving, full of talent and depending on the day, either the best behaved and well mannered Spaniel I have had or a knucklehead. I love him him but he is one high powered dog, a bit much for a gundog at times. That is a Berg Brothers English Setter on the left, I adopted Trudy this year and she is a very sweet and biddable dog, very talented and a pleasure in the field and at home. I lucked out on another board with Trudy, she has tons of experience and was gifted to me. The best gift I have ever received....

Nothing like Dogs that will honour a point. What we have here are 3 German Dogs backing a Tri-Colour Belton Llewellin. After 2 days of hard hunting planted Quail, we finally started to hone some traits. Our 9-10 month only Griffon de Korthals really came forward and progressed, finding, pointing, retrieving and backing. Just all @ once the 2nd day everything just clicked.

Extremely rare! They made Pigeon grade featherweight shotguns years ago before they put choke tubes in them. One at a time I got all three in 12, 20 and finally 28 gauge. They are English grip and vented between the barrels. Both the 12 and the 20 gauge are 26 inch barrels and for some reason the 28 is 28 inches…

The Griffon de Korthals Pup was a little overwhelmed @ 1st with about 6 dogs, but he found his niche. I forgot to mention I was totin' an Austrian 24 bore(from 1914) w/ „Haarzüge“ / hair rifling being an Anson & Deeley Body Action platform that was just stellar in the pines w/ these quick birds, which were some of the Best Planted Bobs I have kicked up.
