For those here who have either done business with Steve in the past or just knew him from visiting with him at shows or perhaps by phone would come to realize he has been gone now for five years. After Steve’s passing, his stepson, August Morris, took over his business and has run it admirably. I spoke with him today for about thirty minutes. I learned he is launching a new website in about two weeks, hopefully, that will be much more user-friendly with more and better details to narrow a search. Just an fyi for The DGS members and lurkers.

I bought a beautiful Vent Rib, Trap Grade Skeet from August.
Not a lot of wiggle room on price but a pleasure to deal with.

Good to hear that, John. August seems to be a fine young man with whom I have been very impressed, in person.

I look forward to the new website. Will it still be under the same name?

You know your 21's Bob. That is a nice one and tough to find in that sort of shape.

August is indeed what you say, Stan. And yes, it will still be SBFG.

I recently bought a 21 Winchester Skeet with 28 inch skeet barrels and a matching set of 28 inch m/f barrels. The gun was exactly as indicated by August. The gun shoots as I hoped and if I can keep the grandsons away it should take some quail this year. I would not hesitate to purchase another gun from August.

Steve has done more for the Hawaiian shirt business than anyone I can imagine.

I also bought a 20 ga W 21, after many years of looking for one with close enough dimensions. August was a pleasure to do business with and even shipped the gun in a W case, one designed for a W 23 but still he didn't charge me extra for it. I was pleasantly surprised to find the gold initials of that famous singer, the Chairman of the board FAS on the trigger guard.
