Hey all, went out solo after Mass today. An absolutely beautiful day! Wish it could stay this way.

Anyway, good day. Limited in a hour and a half.

Addie did wonderful, man I lucked out with her!

Used my 12ga Siace 350G today

Sunday Evening I went goose hunting with two friends in the reeds of the elbe. Big ships sailing up to Hamburg in the background, quite a sight! I managed to shoot two barnacle geese with my William Evans from 1897 in 12/65. The Eley Grand Prix in 12/67,5 Size 4 worked perfectly. Sorry for the picture, it was dark out. They usually don’t run too far when they are shot in the neck.

I knew a farmer that shot all his deer in the head. Didn’t want to waste any meat. I think it was a depression era thing, but, it made for some of the ugliest deer kills I’ve ever seen.
