Ending the chase: it was Anton(ius) Rensmann in Lüdinghausen, probably the son of the gunsmith Philipp Rensmann. Philipp made up his will in 1887 (don't know when he died), and Anton, possibly his son, was the secretary of the "Kolpingverein" in the 1880s.
