Just quit for the day. We finished with two, one grey and one brown phase. We had 5 or 6 flushes. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/Ta1OAqU.jpg) The cover can be tough. Three winters back, there was 150'' of snow, which made young popple absolutely hell to get through. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/Xc5npfJ.jpg)

Hey all, got out for a couple hours today. Yesterday's rain made some of the roads to my good spots slippery and greasey, so went to a couple other areas. Was able to get two. Birds were a bit skiddish today. Still two is better than none. Addie did well again, very happy with her! Used my 12b Jospeh Harkom today. Stay well my friends Greg ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/fTwk580q/20251101-122443.jpg)

Beauty picture Greg. A really nice close up of your shotgun, it really makes the photo. This thread has great game photos but lacks close ups of the shotguns. Anyway, just my opinion for what its worth. I enjoy seeing the variety of every ones shotguns as well.
Brent really nice vintage shotgun, what is it?

Tim, mine is a Skimin and Wood (London) made for Kimball Arms.
It is a 2'' chamber 12b. Ideal for grouse and woodcock.

12 year old Setter (going on 5, mostly) 1938 Ithaca Lefever Nitro Special 16 gauge, two gray grouse. ![[Linked Image from i.ibb.co]](https://i.ibb.co/h05b8D3/IMG-0930.jpg) The gun is 1938 vintage, same as my mom, factory 26” tubes, factory CYL and MOD chokes, and original 2 3/4” chambers, 6lbs, 1oz. Simple and plain as it is, all the kings horses and all the kings men cannot, at this date, produce a cost effective Nitro Special again. The “mostly” part with the dog is she is starting to loose her hearing. We have pretty good hand signal coordination going on, and have been working with the vibration setting on her collar, she is just starting to get that. She spent the first year of life deathly ill with an autoimmune disorder, wish I had a buck for every time someone told me to put her down. I didn’t, and she is the happiest, healthiest, and calmest English Setter I’ve ever owned. Good hunting, everybody! Best, Ted
