I prefer English guns but...modern and Spanish isn't all bad. With my present eye challenges (and even some mild fit issues with my 16), this gun just makes sense right now. The fact that it's a modern 12 isn't lost on me either, because dead is dead with this unit (12s are almost always lethal for me, as much as I appreciate sub-gauge guns).

So I lug the added weight and don't worry about effectiveness (because it always is).
