I have a setter that has taken to licking his toes.
My wife bought an organic potion to be sprayed on to the dogs feet that is designed to deter licking.

I made the first application to his feet tonight, and evidently, I was a little too close and perhaps have been in advertently subjected to the overspray.

Let’s just say I don’t feel like eating any dinner.

lol.

I hope this shit wears off soon. Otherwise I may have stumbled into a new breakthrough weight loss drug.

Out there doing it best I can.

Physdoc: Had the same thing happened to me a couple of times. Just figured the item wanted to do some sightseeing. Finally did show up.

Well, actually the item arrived yesterday, 32 days after being sent 3 day ground advantage. The buyer is happy with it. I learned the following:

When you mail something, two clocks start, 1 gives you two weeks to submit an inquiry via their website, beyond those two weeks, when you enter the tracking
number, you receive the message "An unhandled fault has occurred in this flow
An unhandled fault has occurred while processing the flow. Please contact your system administrator for more information."
Such a helpful error message, eh?

The second clock gives you 60 days after mailing to file a claim.

You can submit a missing mail inquiry, but that requires registering for a free account. I did, submitted the inquiry and 8 days later the package showed up in Chicago,
where it was sent to Dallas, and then back to Chicago. Where it languished for a few days, then was sent on. The missing mail inquiry gives you the option to have
the package sent back to you if it is ever found.

I've done lots of stupid things over the years, too many to detail here.

Besides, it's also time to tell Postal Service stories.

4 or 5 years ago I sent an Indiana friend a Christmas present. Nothing expensive or special. Some local-to-Maine candy, a Maine-specific almanac, some other stuff. Christmas came. No delivery.
Christmas went, no delivery. I knew it was in Indiana - the tracking said so.

I watched this package bounce back and forth between the two post offices in the town - adjacent Zip Codes. Each bounce took about 5 to 7 days. Except the time it bounced up to South Bend and then back. That took about 10.

Finally, it was delivered. My friend got his candy and stuff just in time for Valentine's Day.

Another time, a Christmas card to an old neighbor never arrived there. Came back to me in late March.

While I don't like being at the mercy of the Postal Service's ineptitude and sloth, it beats being at the mercy of FedEx and UPS.
