I am having a 50-90 double rifle built for me, actually a conversion gun. If anyone has any experience with this round or with a double conversion, I would look forward to reading any posts related to this.
Also, I am still working with Alkanet and Behlen's Blood Red and tung oil & linseed oil combinations and just want to say thanks again to all the "alkanet root" club who contributed to some great reading on stains and finishes!
BTW---The 50-90 is on a Merkel frame. 20 inch PacNor barrels. The bullet of choice is a 525 grain solid cast, flat nose at about .511 diameter.
