They normally are marked VZ for IC and 1/4 for quarter choke 1/2 for Mod, 3/4 for improved modified ans 1/1 for Full. Should have a date code also. That is probably marked GDR on the barrels as it was made in East Germany. GSI was probably the importer unless it was brought back by a GI stationed in Europe. foxes rule
