Charlie Kirk was a shining star. It's a travesty that he was murdered.


Saying that HE caused the shooting is unimaginable.

Charlie lived a life that emulated peace and forgiveness. He was intelligent with great knowledge of his talking points.

Another sad day for America.

I'm hearing that President Trump will be posthumously awarding Mr. Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I'm also hearing the weapon used was an early Mauser bolt gun in .30-06, so...150-year old technology. Additional gun bans wont stop anything like that, eh?

I prayed the moment I heard Charlie Kirk had been shot at a University in Utah. I prayed he was OK

I prayed again when I heard he was rushed to the hospital, and it appeared to be a superficial lower neck wound, or maybe a bullet in his clavicle.

I prayed again when it was finally announced that he was dead. I prayed for his soul, and for his young wife and two small children.

Then I prayed that maybe this might finally be a turning point, a wake-up call that we have been not taking this fight seriously.

Stan, I recall you telling us that you are an Elder in your Church. And I also recall that you carry a concealed .45 Auto when you attend services... because you recognize there is real evil in this world.
The Left is evil, and we saw it here again yesterday when a certain member was advancing the latest lie that Trump is a pedophile. You won't see any complaints from his Democrat pals that he is off-topic.

Later in the evening, I began listening and reading news reports. I agreed with Don Trump Jr's. comment concerning this assassination, the attempts on his father, and Rep. Steve Scalise, where he noted that we are in a war, but all of the bullets in this war are coming from one side.

I also read many reports and posts on various social media where Liberal Democrats were celebrating the killing and silencing of Charlie Kirk. Their only regrets were that he didn't suffer, and that President Trump and Vice President Vance weren't dead... yet.

So yeah, I agree with ksauers1. This is about politics. If it wasn't, there would be no need for a call to pray for Charlie Kirk. He was killed because of his politics, and very many on the Left support this killing to shut him up.

So why should we be afraid that Dave might lock this Thread if the political motivation to silence Charlie is noted? Another firearms forum I visit had a Charlie Kirk Thread that started at 1:58 PM, and it is now up to 48 pages in less than 24 hours. There are some prayers, but most of it is political, and I can guarantee you that it will not cause the demise of that forum. They have literally thousands of Political Posts, and Political Picture Threads that go on for hundreds of pages. And when some Leftists get mad and leave, nobody really cares. The Liberals here, on the other hand, have all but stamped out any and all politics... even that which threatens our Gun Rights.

No, I'm not. This thread, THIS thread, is not about politics. That is what I meant.


I don't have my head in the sand. I fully know what motivated the coward. But THIS thread was not meant or intended to be about that. Even though I thought I stated that clearly at the outset apparently it was lost on you. It's sad that you can't focus on praying for the hurting for having tunnel vision about motivations.

May God keep him in his loving arms. Ours prayers go out for both him and his beloved family

I hope you think the same of the assasination of Melissa Hortman and her husband a few months ago. And the others that were nearly killed that night. Sadly, i do not believe they made the pages of doublegun.

What's even sadder is that you'll never see this episode played on mainstream American TV.
