Tom,

I do not know you and not sure if I have read any of your posts but my prayers for comfort, peace and even healing are still with you and your family. I know that God has open arms to anyone who calls on his name. I hope to meet you in this life or the next.

In Christ.

Tom, you were one of the helpful guys at Cabela's. Guys like you and Bill Taylor. I remember suggesting to you that it'd be good to have a barrel wall thickness gauge in the Gun Libraries. You told me too many
employees didn't know how to use a bore and choke gauge. I thought of you when I had a gun sent from one Gun Library to another one so I could take a look at it. I was looking for a 12 with quite a bit of choke in one barrel. Took my own gauge along. Discovered that I was reading scarcely any choke. I thought maybe my gauge was off. asked if I could use the Gun Library's gauge. Young employee returns with the answer: We don't have one of those. I caused me to think of you.

Very sad news. You have a lot of good friends here with fond memories of you. I'm now an octogenarian myself, but lucky to be in reasonably good health for my age. As are my dogs. Thanks for all you did for me and others who seek out fine sxs. You were always a friendly voice and a helpful hand. I'll think of you when bird season opens here in a few days. Thanks for taking the time to bid us farewell. We will miss you!

Thinking of you Tom. I will always cherish the Holland I bought through you, it will be the very last gun I part with. It has been my pleasure knowing you. Those setters are waiting on you, I'm sure of that. All the best,
Steve

Tom:

Phenomenal & Nobel method to Bid Farewell. Can't say we met nor corresponded but from our common merry band of friends, I can genuinely say you are a Scholar & a Gentleman. My hope is that when my end is near, that I will have just one acquaintance to utter a semblance as well as smattering of the High Esteem & Best Regards tossed upon you by those here that really knew you. God-Speed fellow Doublegunshop Aficionado.

Tom,
I didn't know you, but I know about Hospice through family and friends. You are in good hands; they always give loving care and are always helpful and respectful of your loved ones too. Maybe we can meet on the "other side".
