I read today that Peter Powell of William Powell & Son has passed away. I met him on a few occasions when he was at William Powell in Carrs Lane in Birmingham and he was a friendly, welcoming and hugely knowledgeable man. Sad loss.

I did not know Peter, but I’m familiar with the company. So sorry to hear about his passing.
