I won the Deep River .410 event the first year it was held. I had some 3" shells in my pouch, but my gun was chambered for 2 1/2", so I couldn't use the 3" shells. Choke will always substitute for shot load if you know how to shoot, and back when, I knew how to shoot, or I thought I did. My reloads were pretty "loud", and were tested on the pattern board, so I was confident. In my mind, it was the best sporting clays event I had ever won. My win was with a GH grade Parker.
