I got a 410 shoot started at my local club. It's hard to get people to come as they complain about the price of the shells. Also the local skeet shooters who attended put pressure on the club owner to only allow 2 1/2" shells and not 3".

The weather kept me away from DeepRiver this year. How did the shoot go? Will you have it next year? I’ve found 2.5” vs 3” shells make a difference

Have a 2 1/2" class and a 3" class, should make most happy
I have become addicted to English hammered shotguns to the detriment of my wallet.
I agree, for hunting. For clays it doesn't really matter to me. Most courses with targets set for a .410 have birds that 1/2 oz. will easily break, with enough choke.
3" loads on wild birds increases my distance a little and also increases my kill ratio. I have a .73 oz. handload of nickel plated 8s that is the best .410 dove load I've ever used, hands down.
The author finished just after I arrived. Fortunately his video did not quite capture the moment I spilt half a box of cartridges out of the back of my Subaru as I got ready.
