There's another option here. If it's worth two days and quite interesting justification, such an aficionado would be most tolerant and welcoming of the spice of life.
It depends on what your definition of spice is, Craigd. There isn’t much posted about driven game shooting on this site that meets with any positive resonance. At least piping meets with decent craic.
I would like to try driven game at least once in my life, what really interests me is walked up Grouse in the heather over Setters, and any kind of walked up game over Spaniels.
Walking the heather is a lot like walking the sage flats. I’ve never seen one, but they claim there are “ Black adders” out there in it. I would say that sage hens evolved very similarly to red grouse. Very narrow environmental niche animals.
