I keep ending up with guns that belonged to late family and friends. Quite by accident, I’ve got 100-150 Americans covered.

Duck guns, deer guns, goose guns, stuff that just isn’t in my wheelhouse. They sit in a safe waiting another day in the sun that probably isn’t coming, not from me, anyway.

I own guns I’ve never shot, and really have not much intention of shooting. A little bittersweet.

Best,

Ted

Chap had better have a flask in his gilet. Might need a whisky or two after passing through that drab and depressing place.

Princess Stevie SKB, it seems like you were really hitting the bong early today... in addition to being just plain stupid.

We were discussing one George Earl painting, "Going North" which depicted a scene of hunters heading NORTH for the Glorious 12th.

Nobody mentioned the companion painting, "Coming South" until you felt the need to once again roll in the mud, and attempt to provide cover for ClapperZapper.

Isn't it interesting to see once again that you will "roll in the mud" about virtually anything... except telling us whether you paid Dave Weber the $12.00 fee for each and every sale that resulted from your Free Tagline Advertising of your For-Profit business ventures.

How long will you continue to dodge the question like a little coward. And how long will you think you are fooling anyone with your lame excuse for not answering a simple question???

The clock from “Coming South” still hangs right there.
In Perth station.

I'm sure you were somewhere this morning ClapperZapper. But I seriously doubt it was anywhere near Perth, Scotland Railroad Station.

It appears that you make up or imagine a lot of things. I've caught you in lies in the past, and this looks like another. For example, you said "Perth Station remains unchanged since the original painting." But a quick Google search will prove that both King's Cross Station and Perth Station are relatively modern structures that have undergone significant changes since 1893.

It's also strange and atypical that you didn't mention you were traveling to Scotland. Normally, we'd hear you crowing about it weeks prior to departure.

Then you replied to me by announcing you were "there this morning." And acting as if "there" was Perth, Scotland Station.

One wonders why you would be in Perth, Scotland Rail Station at all. Did you already get your season limit after less than a day of hunting, and were heading south? If you were there for hunting, you already told us ScotRail won't permit guns, and for that reason, you use a porter or rent a car.

At this point, I'd have to see a stamped passport or a return plane ticket from Scotland to even begin to believe you.

I can't imagine, if you were really hunting in Scotland, that you would waste even a minute to log onto DoubleGunShop.com Forum just to tell everyone that you were not thinking about me. Not a word about the hunting or the guns. Not a single word about the trip. No photos of you and your companions at the grouse moors. But two posts to respond to me, and then also claim you are unconcerned about me.

I've felt that you are nothing but a pathetic and pretentious phony for a long time CZ, and this B.S. only reinforces that thought.

I'd also say that it's great to live rent free in both your head and Princess Stevie SKB's head... but both are very small accommodations.. like pinhead small.

You are too dumb to follow along. CZ mentioned Perth Station, then you brought up Australia. Your ignorance of what CZ was referring to is comical.

Continue on little piggy Princess, I'm done with you for now.

Stamps have pretty much gone the way of the dodo. I’m hoping for a picture of a pile of dead birds inartfully thrown in a heap though.

True story LR, and our pathetic poseur could even show us a photoshopped return flight ticket from the UK. Photos of dead birds are easy to find as well. On the other hand, the Gray Man, our bloviating tweed and breeks wearing wannabe aristocrat, could go the the manned desk and request a passport stamp, just to show everyone.

I expect we'll see that about the same time we see a pile of cancelled $12.00 checks from Princess SKB's payments to Dave for any and all sales resulting from Free Tagline Advertising. More likely we'll see some dismissive lame reply about not wishing to roll in the mud with a spec (sic).

Yeah, that's an off-ramp that has everyone fooled!

Princess SKB, I totally understood that ClapperZapper mentioned Perth Station. And he also falsely said that Perth station "remains unchanged since the original painting." Yes, that was a lie intended to impress anyone who wouldn't bother to check. In addition, neither Perth Station, either Scotland or Australia, has anything to do with with the painting we were discussing. The Gray Man was spouting off again, and got tripped up by a little fact-checking.

The painting we were referring to was "Going North", which depicted hunters traveling NORTH to Scotland to hunt on The Glorious 12th. The companion painting that now hangs in Perth Station is "Coming South", and that painting had not been even mentioned until ClapperZapper chimed in to lie about the present day appearance of the train station. Nobody has to take my word for it. Anyone can Google present day photos of the Perth Station, and compare it to what was painted in the late 19th century.

Later, CZ doubled down with the "I was there this morning" statement. Our dead buddy King would defend such a statement by saying it was "the craft of journalism", and that he never actually said where "there" was. I threw the Bullshit Flag, and now your liberal left pal will play the "I won't bother responding to a "spec" (sic) game. Instead, he is now spending his precious imaginary moments in Scotland responding to Lloyd's questions about what to see in Belfast. Pretty much what any of us would be doing if we were on a hunting trip in Scotland. (That last sentence was intended to be facetious and sarcastic... for the cognitively impaired like you.)

You can certainly travel NORTH to Scotland coming from Perth, Australia, as you go around the tip of Africa. I did facetiously mention the difficulty of a train trip across the ocean, and that likely went right over your pin-head as well. But if you are in Perth, Scotland, you would already be at the location of the traditional return trip, which was painted by the same artist 5 years later in 1898. Your ignorance of directions, locations, and what was actually said is comical. It's sad that you are too dumb to accurately follow what was said without attempting to twist things. The title of the subject painting, once again, is "Going North"... not "Hey, We Are Already Here in Scotland..."

Unfortunately, there is no possible way I could dumb-down my posts enough for your low I.Q. Princess SKB. Even DimmyW couldn't manage that. But you'll just keep rolling in that mud as you make lame excuses for not telling us whether you have paid Dave the $12.00 fee for each and every sale resulting from your Free Tagline Advertising. I think we all know why.
