I joke a lot, some people don't understand it and just think I don't know anything. In a conversion, I don't think the magazine would give much trouble as long as you kept the same cambering. If you find someone to try, I suggest you give him and old Commission mod 88 action for his initial efforts at trying to make the bolt work through the split bridge. That sacrifice would 't be as expensive as an MS. You should evaluate what you are looking for in a conversion. If you are really mostly interested in the spool magazine, I believe it would be easier to splice the magazine assembly and selected sections of the receiver from a Greek Mod 1903 MS to an action that already has the camming and locking surfaces set up for left-handed operation. BTY, even though I shoot right handed (right hand master eye) I am naturally left handed, so I understand your problem. Good luck,
