You can go on and on about lead shot bans. Do what you can to prevent stupid laws. But in the end a majority will prevail even if they are an uninformed majority.
I for one will not be sitting home knashing my teeth over, or quit hunting like many did when steel was mandated for waterfowl. I'll still be hunting and shooting. I have a good stash of Bismuth shot for upland and waterfowl so I can still shoot my beloved hammer shotguns and I have a little CZ Bobwhite stashed in the safe, and upland, waterfowl and target steel shells.under the loading bench. When my state at the time was contemplating going lead-free I bought lead-free bullets for my rifles and worked up loads for them, they kill just fine.
Luckily I'm in the sunset years of my life, I have no problem, just admiring some of my old shotgun and shooting new ones if it keeps me in the field. THEY only win when you give up.
