My 16 is 5lbs14 w/28 tubes choked m/ic & 14 3/4 lop

Nigel Brown, British Gunmakers Vol.2, has information and a list at pages 136 and 137.

The Liverpool and Preston shops, up to 1916, kept separate number books for each branch.

As a result, although numbers do not appear to have been duplicated they may have been a few years out of step.

Post or PM me your serial number and I can look it up for you.
