I've always been told that when Sherman sashayed towards the Sea, he & his merry band of men pulled all the Pine Knot Section/Property Corners up & burned them for warmth, when Pine Knots were, and still are, used as Property Corners. Chances are if you are the Custodian of a pre-WWII FN offering, Browning, whatever, at least one component, if not almost all passed thru the hands of Women Mechanics in Liège, even in a Male Dominated World.
