Overseas multinationals with business in the US are eating the tariff. Of course this puts pressure on margins but if they want to sell here you do what you gotta do. My suggestion to firearms dealers in the Uk and Europe would be to adjust their prices to account for tariffs. Eventually buyers here will demand this and it will happen.
Not likely.....it is an international market, we are strong buyers but hardly the only mouth at the table. It is the retailers and consumers in America that will take this 10% in the shorts. That's right, you and I, just like with everything else that is imported, coffee, bananas, you name it, it is the American consumer who pays more, in spite of the tall tale Trump is telling that the foreign seller pays the tariffs.
