Steel shot for game shooting is one thing, but no-tox for clay targets is entirely another. Punitive. But it seems there are few targets shot with a SxS in the UK, and what game shooting videos I’ve seen most, if not all, of the shooters use an O/U. With their thinner barrel walls and old age, both composite and fluid steel British SxS guns have had their day. Toast. It seems, though, that the five year transition period to no-tox has been going on for more than five years. Is there a drop dead date?
