[quote=eightbore]That publication was clearly a labour of love for 30 plus years and it provided me with a vintage double education I just don’t know how I would have received otherwise. I am, I think like many others here, in the Cote’s debt…I wish the Cote’s well as they try to move forward. I couldn’t agree more. I have a complete boxed set and had just renewed my subscription when they ceased publication. Joanna offered me a refund but I told her to keep it on account and put it towards the last I&R plus I sent them the remainder of the full price for it. Having been down the same painful path of loss of a son, I have nothing but empathy and gratitude for them.

5/13/25 Update from DGJ:
Good News for everyone who has been waiting patiently for our much delayed Index and Reader Volume 3. They will be winging their way to you within in the next 2 weeks or sooner! Our sincere apologies for this frustrating delay. We are as relieved as you are!
Our printer confirms delivery of the finished Index & Reader Volume 3 to our warehouse by or before May 20, 2025. All paid-for books (without other accompanying products) will be shipped directly from the Canadian printing plant initially to get it to you asap. Orders requiring additional DGJ products, signatures, or other special attention will be packaged and shipped from Michigan as soon as we receive the remaining copies.
We will be adding the Index and Reader Vol. 3 to our webstore as soon as we have them in our warehouse. In the meantime, if you have a query about ordering, or credit on your account or anything else, please message or email Daniel or Joanna at the office and we will go through the details with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Thank you again for your loyalty, kind wishes, patience and understanding over what is now 36 years in total. We couldn't have done it without you!

My USPS Informed delivery email today shows a shipping label created in Pembina, ND, for media mail. I believe that is in Canada. I can only assume it is the DGJ Index Reader III.

Just Some thing to Think about. Most people on different ''Sites'' say the same thing, the old Double gun Journal issue's are mostly worthless, So why are some people paying $135 for the last hurray issue ?

Because a lot of us had a balance owed to us when they stopped publication mid year, and we could apply it to the Reader or other offerings. In addition it was a “thank you” to the Cotes for all they did for the doublegun community.
Besides, if you’re into vintage doubles, $135 isn’t a lot of money

Dirty Harry I think there is a GIANT difference between "worthless" and "having resale value." I greatly look forward to the last "hurrah(sic)"

Dirty Harry Did you mean "last hurrah"? I thought so.
May God bless America and those who defend her.
