I didn't think it was possible to screw that up, but here we are.

It's a mess for anyone paying attention.

Thanks for sharing your story Steve, in fairness we all have them. The fact is, there is not one American who is not affected in some way by any cost increase for any reason. Of course, those with more than others are less affected.

The 'discussion' is that you treat this topic as you have with many others, talking down to people from some position of superiority without meaningful contribution. The fact is, tariffs are an international tactic, not a punitive tactic against legal, productive citizens. Some here have commented about the entire US of A having many screwed up hypocrisies that are forced on us as the norm, yet somehow you found a 'screw up' that's supposed trump them all, until the next talking point comes out.

Each day, we find out about best double times infinite magnitudes of waste, fraud and abuse of working American dollars, which could have rewarded yours and others, hard work. It's still a mess for anyone paying attention, but I didn't think it was possible to screw up the status quo in such a meaningful way. Why don't you want to teach our future generations to appreciate the fruits of hard work, rather than cross dress.

Actually Craig, it is those that have the least who feel the effect of the tariffs the most. Poor people spend a much larger percentage of income on necessities than the wealthy do.

Talking down? Please, you might be the most condescending poster on the board. You have no room to talk in that regard.

The status quo certainly has been changed, but not in a good way. Trump has made a mess of a once stable and growing economy. DOGE has created more problems than it has solved and has not saved but a small fraction of what was claimed, 2 trillion? Hardley, more like 150 Billion. The economy actually shrunk this past quarter, a direct result of Trump's policies.

I think I will leave teaching the next generation to those of you that have chosen to reproduce. I have bird dogs that I am responsible for, and not much else to answer to, by design.

argo, sad and dastardly that your fine thread has been so disrespected...

this spark that lit our quest for freedom and liberty is a most important event in human history...

God put us on this earth and gave us pathways to return...

however, he left it up to us to govern ourselves while we are here...

and so far, the U.S. Constitution is man's best effort to achieve that quest...

You are a selective hoot Steve. (wasted bandwidth), I think there 'has' been good talks on amazingly wide ranging odds and ends. Set the tone, and you're correct, I may not have much room left in that regard. Your prof. buddy has never been wrong, lol, and you are his safe space, no big deal, those were the days.

Even though I didn't get the condescending talking point memo, you seem to repeat some of my thoughts, just that you want to spin it for class division. So, by design, you're just trolling and don't care about these 'issues'.

Gee Craig, maybe you would like to suggest how I live my life? What shows I take in, where and how I hunt?

Brent is his own man, we share some common interests, but that is true with the vast majority who have been my clients and is in no way unique to Brent.

Oh, I think you wrote the condescending memo, no shock that you didn't get it.

Issues? How about solutions instead of making things worse?

Did you notice how much the cost to service our has risen dramatically since Trump screwed up the bond market?

Trolling? That would be you, not me.

I didn't mention any of those things as a slight to you, Steve. I mentioned them as things that I found enjoyable, and sometimes quite unique and unexpected.

My apologies Craig, I took you post differently than you had intended, my mistake.
