Trust me Ted, I import a hell of a lot more than junk, like double rifles that retail for more than any Darne you have ever had through your FFL. If you didn't assume so much, you might not come across as such an a$$. How many guns have you sold in the 50K or so range? I'm guessing a damn sight fewer than I have.
You don't seem to get it, I'm quite successful at what I do, I won't be getting out of the gun business because it can be challenging at times....that was you.
Steve
I honestly never handled anything at this level:
https://www.gunsinternational.com/g...-ugartechea-ejector.cfm?gun_id=102307356My point was I never handled used guns.
I got out of it because the good guy died.
That is a challenge that is hard to get around.
The guy buying your $50K gun doesn’t give a rip about a tariff. I’d guess most people don’t to be honest. What’s higher, your markup, or, the tariff? Guns aren’t groceries and people don’t buy enough of them in a month to worry about a tariff, that will more than likely fade away after the negotiations are settled. It was you that said the cost of living was too high, I seriously doubt you, or anybody else here has been hurt in the last 100 days, unless they panicked and sold all their investments in the week after the pump and dump in the stock market.
You didn’t do that, did you? Of course you didn’t.
Anyway, good luck.
Best,
Ted
Sure Ted, but you have told us many times about your own Uggie.
I sell some low dollar stuff, I also sell things that are very high end, higher end than any Darne you have ever sold.

You are also wrong about trump's policies not costing me money. I have inventory overseas that was purchased before the tariffs went into effect that I will now need to pay a 10% tariff on. Taking 10% out of my profits hurts, you would know that if you had been successful in running a business.
You never did answer my question about your son, is he going to work on an assembly line in a factory? We both know that won't be the case, your son is too smart for that kind of work. The exact reason that according to Mike Rowe(Dirty jobs, not our BBS member) we have 482K unfilled manufacturing jobs currently. Who is going to take these factory jobs? Not your son.
Tariffs are a terrible idea that hurts small business and the consumer.
Just the facts Ted.
