Hello:

Back in 2021 I posted about a mysterious English rook rifle in .360 No 5 that carries London proof marks but has no maker's name on the rifle. Here's a link to that discussion:

Today, I made a Cerrosafe cast of the bore, and I was quite surprised to discover that it appears to have Henry rifling - 7 vee-shaped lands and 7 wide grooves - very much like the bore of an Alexander Henry 450 BPE double in my collection.

This little rifle looks like any number of Birmingham-made rook rifles: https://app.photobucket.com/u/rmbatten/a/a47a3b7c-bb47-4afa-b423-878d209ccbac

Does anyone know whether Henry produced barrels for the trade in Birmingham? I can't find any reference about this in the Dallas volume about Alexander Henry.

Cheers!
