It's simple choice, either fight or run, and as usual "demography" is still destiny (which is why Biden held the southern border open for so long), so pick carefully. Staying here isn't hopeless just yet, but it's getting ever tougher to hang-on. Getting older has its own form of "calculus" and having close friends and/or even some family around really seems to make a difference as the going gets tougher (& it inevitably will).

Once our son completes his college education, he'll likely head off to "greener pastures" (for work, of course). Ultimately, that will likely cause us to follow him someday (if he ever has a family of his own). Pulling up stakes here won't be easy (after 40-years now) but...I'm always looking around for the next, best place for us. I'm going to go fly fishing up in the Black Hills this Summer with just that thought in mind.

Here's praying that America's "Golden Era" (as Trump is now calling it) is yet to be upon us, eh?
