I would not be surprised if newest high grade guns from England have steel shot proof and can be shot with variety of modern lead-free shot. I have noticed less quality sxs guns for sale on auction sites that I have frequented for the past 10 years. The last two years in particular. There are still lots of junkers, and new Turkish offerings but the quality stuff under 3k has dried up. Quality small bores always bring good money. 10's and 12's bring very little unless it is a quality maker in great condition. I'm glad I bought mine when I did. I still look all the time but usually come up empty handed.
