Satire can be a bit risky here. It's all too easy to misunderstand if you're just glancing at a post (or if your eyes and/or your cellphone are a challenge). And...on a fairly emotional subject, preconceptions can take-over your usually measured responses.

Just look for the satire in the posts of those clearly suffering from terminal cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I half expect to read about them setting themselves on fire, in protest, after reading their deranged rants right here. My family always considered Canadians to be a bunch of imperiast socialist bastards. Why would anybody want them??? My satirical comments seems entirely unrecognized by many of our regulars here.
I just thought an inane post by the OP deserved follow up by something similarly ridiculous. I don't see any satire in Grouse Guy's first post. What I see is someone doing some serious backpedaling after several days of reading all of the unhappy responses to his first post. This is classic Atheist finding religion in a foxhole. He also neglected to correct the misspelling of the word "imperialist". But we can forgive that because rocky mtn bill may have been his spelling teacher. And that isn't satire.

Yep craigd, the same person, but "academic" only to the extent of being able to dump large numbers of links to anti-lead ammo studies... without the ability or mental capacity to digest their content. Also the same entitled Lefty that got busted for poaching a deer out of season. I'm surprised he doesn't also have an oversized tagline photo of a malnourished dog... if you catch my drift.

Yes it is, Craig, the same Ben Deeble that single-handedly lobbied for the removal of lead shot use in all upland bird hunting here in Montana. Luckily, it went nowhere due to the hard work of Montana sportsmen contacting their various representatives. Much of this was discussed here on our DGS board and is probably still being archived here since its occurrence around 2010/2011, if memory serves.
