We either have fair trade, or we don’t. I am absolutely stunned at the ignorance of Canadians on market dynamics of trade with the US. Did you happen to hear what the Vietnamese government did with their tariffs on US products? A smart group in that part of the world.

Ted, let's REALLY be honest - for once.

I know, you do not really know better. Your lips are so locked on that firehose of right-wing fake media that you cannot hear the truyh over the roar of the lies, but let's begin with the USMC agreement. It spells out the tariffs on dairy products with Canada.

USMC was negotiated by Trump 1.0 to replace the "horrific" NAFTA agreement.

USMC was called the greatest international trade agreement ever by your hero, Trump. You can find him blather on about what a great agreement it is on YouTube in under a minute.

The USMC spells out the TRUMP-negotiated dairy tariffs that take effect ONLY after dairy sales from the US to Canada exceed quotas RUMP negotiated. In other words (I think I need to spell this out more simply for you), until those quotas are exceeded, Canada does not suffer one penny of tariffs (not even a Canadian penny, which I think is now extinct anyway, so we are lucky there).

Even more telling, the US has NEVER sold enough dairy to Canada to trigger said tariffs.

On top of that, the quotas in most dairy categories are not even close to their quotas. For instance, milk sales to Canada do not even reach 50% of the quota.


Now, let's not get into the weeds like this on health care, because you will, again, be shown to be full of caca.

Keep in mind, Ignorance * Arrogance = Stupidity. You are pushing record levels in both categories today.
