I prefer to use a MEC Supersizer to resize my .410s. It's another extra expense, I know, but I bought it to do double duty as a shell holder on my drill press table when I roll crimp. I have interchangeable collets in most gauges.

One hand holds pressure on the SS while the other pulls down the spindle to execute the crimp. A foot controlled pressure switch turns the drill press on and off.

I quickly learned the supersizer is an integral part of loading 410. I size shells after priming. If anyone has the old fashioned tool which is used to pull a stuck cartridge out of the chamber I would love to add that to my tool bag. I can find them on line in 12 ga but not 410. I carry a cut up dowel rod in my shell bag now for stuck wads and shells.

Find a piece of brass rod just barely undersized of your chokes and about four inches long. Round the sharp edges off. Drop it into the muzzle, holding the muzzles upright, and it will dislodge stuck hulls and/or wads from the chamber and bore.

They're sold as "wad knockers" and double as a handle for a chamber brush, with a knurled area for grip. They're harmless to the bore and chamber. The only time the wad knocker will fail to eject a stuck hull is in the case of the shell rim getting under the ejector blade. Not even a ramrod will get that out, but it must be carefully pried from under the ejector without harming the ejector/extractor itself. That's an admittedly rare occurrence but it happens.
