I just ran across this forum trying to find information on a Sauer & Sohn/Geco 12 Gauge I recently acquired. Following my search, this thread topic came up and I viewed the posted pictures. The pictures looked just like mine with attention drawn to the red recoil pad. I compared mine to the pictures and realized I have this actual shotgun. The information posted is really helpful and I would like to learn more about what I have. The condition of the wood and bluing is excellent for the age of the gun. Is there a specific model or grade of this particular gun? Searching, I can't find any comparable models with the wood inlays in the stock and forearm or color case heavily engraved receiver. Any help is appreciated and I look forward to participating in this forum.
