I log the serial number, grade, gauge, length of barrel, type of barrel, and features. Feel free to send any info on guns that you would like. lefeverarms@yahoo.com I been doing the for over 10 years. I had started a list fo my own then added Allen Avangers list and then added Lanny Samsons list when he passed away. About 6 months ago I added Buck Hamlins numbers to the list and thats what I have today. I use to email the list out but one guy has spoiled that for everyone. As he would just criticized it on line. To boot all he has not given me any of his daddys numbers. I will be more than happy to share infor on guns that people find as I have a high numbers of upgrades. I will also go throught the list for people letting them know how may guns are know, etc. Bob

Good point I did not see that. If you look at the later high grades in the Lefever book, you will see a number of guns without cocking indicators. I think that they felt that it took away from the engraving. Bob

Egerton,
With a beautiful B grade like that, you should consider joining the Lefever Collectors Association ("LACA"). Your gun would in any event make an interesting article for our bi-monthly newsletter. Please contact me if you would be interested in joining LACA or if you are willing to provide a series of photos of it and a bit of info to put into an article for our newsletter. Great gun. RichardBrewster@nyc.rr.com
Thanks.

Egerton A very nice 20, B,s are very hard to come by,any 20 E or higher is rare. the first picture shows the wood to be very light and the second one shows it much darker. has it been restocked or refinished?. In either case a special Lefever.Put me on the list if you should change your mind about selling it.

Not a bad gun, if you're into owning very rare, incredibly beautiful firearms that could be considered some of the finest ever made in America. You know, if you're into that kind of thing.

The gun's stock and barrels have been refinished. As far as I know the gun is all original. No other work has been done to it.
