When I first started in the trade ( 1973) you only had Shotgun News. Later Michael Tenny and his girl friend started the Gunlist where things were nicely organized. I later noticed that as the Gun List took off, Shotgun News headed more toward ads for military surplus and AR and defensive stuff. Much later when Michael Tenney sold the gun list they too headed toward the defensive and military surplus stuff and got away form the stuff that you and I like.

Yes, I realize that the internet took over the ads for the nice stuff, I think. Up until a few years ago I still did see both of those papers on sale at the book stores, but no more. Just wondering if they are still around.
