.....Yeah, so what if a bunch of perfectly legal hispanics get deported "by accident". It is all good, no?.... You're rather slow, and coming from me, that must be pretty bad, right bill? Why don't you compare your concept of perfectly legal, with wiki. All good, nope.

as a non California resident I can purchase all the ammo I want in Nevada and take it in to California and not break the law. True, but as a non-CA resident, you can"t buy ammo here. And I can"t even give it to you (legally). We had that problem a couple years ago when an ex-pat buddy came back to hunt ducks with us. Our state government is completely nuts. Bunch of thieves and whores (with my apologies to the actual thieves and whores out there).

Hope your bottle does not dry up too quick.

I always figured you for a Kalifornia boy. You’d blend right in on that Cub, with a heater hanging off your lip. Pretty sure the cumulative IQ of both states went down that day.

If guns and hunting are such a big part of your life- why would you want to live in a place like that? Because I'm 77 and I have two houses here and my kids are here and my significant other is here and she won't move. If you are in the right place, our duck hunting is as good as any place in the country. CA harvests more waterfowl annually than any other state. Beaches, mountains, deserts, all within an hour of either house. I'm three hours from Yuma for doves, one hour from San Diego for fishing, three hours from the Salton Sea for ducks. I have 55 wineries within 20 minutes. It rained this week but it's going to be 75 F next week, so we have the best weather in the country and we gripe as we pay the weather tax. When I was younger, I could surf in January and ski into May. The government sucks big time, but it wasn't always this way, and we keep hoping for a change. Just have to wait for Los Angeles and San Francisco to fall into the Pacific, and for Sacramento to be swallowed by a giant sinkhole. Can't happen soon enough. If I were 40, I'd be gone. When I was 40, things were pretty good here.

Brent, perhaps your reading and comprehension skills are impaired, or maybe your memory is failing. You posted: CA does have extra taxes on ammo, however. What they are going to do with them, I do not know and no one has said with anything that approaches credibility. Go back and read my post from 2/12 on this subject. Not only does it approach credibility, it is dead nuts on the point. Credibility? Harumph! This is from Kiplinger. Since you seem to fancy yourself an academic, you should be able to easily find dozens or hundreds of citations that say the same thing. A little reading practice might be good for you. Revenue from the gun tax, estimated by state officials to be about $160 million a year, will help fund violence prevention programs. ... However, an emphasis of the new laws, some supporters say, is on proactive steps to prevent gun violence.

I know, but true.
