When has any law passed by democrats made any sense? Especially when it involves firearms or ammunition.

Because we all know that criminals, gang members, repeat offenders, what have you, practice safe storage, use trigger locks, only use lead-free ammunition, submit to background checks, abide by waiting periods, respect red flag laws, and drive around in their unregistered and uninsured vehicles with their stolen firearm secured in a lockable hard case....

What next? Internal passports for legal residents? Papers please…. State authorities are prosecuting the law abiding because its low hanging fruit.

You would think the Liberal Left gun owners on this forum would be able to connect the dots, and finally start to see that they helped to create this situation by voting for the anti-gun Democrats who enact all of these silly and costly laws regulating law abiding gun owners.

But no... you just can't fix stupid!

The good news they can cling to is the added costs, taxes, and hassle they must now endure when buying ammo in California is nothing compared to the inflated costs for virtually everything, since Bidenomics dramatically increased the prices we pay for just about everything. Elections have consequences!

Next? Already happening and they may not be enough if you look a little mexican to a squinty near-sighted self-appointed deputy.

What's your solution perfesser? Defund the border patrol? Dismantle ICE? How about footprint citizenship, anyone who sets foot in America get automatic citizenship?

No doubt your heart bleeds for these struggling masses yearning to be from the oppressive yoke of the governments they voted for. Maybe you can explain why when they riot and close down highways, they are waving Mexican flags and burning American flags. I thought they wanted to be Americans?

If you think, and you do, that the current administration is overreaching and going too far, maybe the puppet masters of the last administration should have done something, anything. Besides sending that loathsome Mayorkas to the southern border with a welcome mat.

Meanwhile, keep in mind, Biden deported more illegals than Trump 1.0, finishing out 2024 with 271,000 and change deported. More than Trump 1.0 ever did. Of course, you can't see that because you are blind to everything but your party line.

Don't forget the Dingell-Johnson act which is a tax on fishing equipment sales and gasoline sales. It also benefits fisheries, wetland restoration, ect.

That is what I posted above. You can see it met with the usual whining and crying. CA does have extra taxes on ammo, however. What they are going to do with them, I do not know and no one has said with anything that approaches credibility.

Yeah, around 2 million removals during Trump's first term, against around 4.7 million during Biden's term. Except you didn't mention that about 2.7 million under Biden were due to Title 42 covid restrictions and his hands were tied, and republicans sued him 2022 to keep him from ending those restrictions or his 4.7 million would have been less.

You also didn't mention that there were about 2.4 million border encounters during Trump, against more than 10 million during Biden. Who could have guessed you'd leave that out?

The reason there is no useful dialog, is because arguing the leftist viewpoint means throwing logic, intelligence and facts out the window.
