I think Trump losing the 2020 election was the best thing that could have happened. Either you or the Jan. Sixer’s are wrong. Which is it? ______________________________ (insert rant against socialist farm subsidies here)

Beachfront vacations in either summer Greenland or winter Gaza, the options seem endless now! The canal-zone still seems to have prospects as well.
Never boring anymore, eh?
Tim in PA: I'm going to shamelessly steal your "objective reality" summary earlier here for use in other on-going conversations. Nice work.

Hard pass. One minute you’re having a Denver omelette in the restaurant and the next some lunatic is crashing into the lobby with a car bomb. Better off BLASTING to Sheboygan with Ted for a burrito. ______________________________ Stop at Timmy’s on the way for a coffee and donut.

We can only guess.

Yes, you are proud of your Cub, but, trust me on this. You aren’t a rider. Or as the lad from Jawja might say, the Lord works in mysterious ways. _______________________________ Tacos Carbon for me, Ted.

Or as the lad from Jawja might say, the Lord works in mysterious ways. _______________________________ Tacos Carbon for me, Ted. Unintended consequences? I think the dems would go along with that, if they were smart enough to realize it and honest enough to admit it. As to the Lord's actions being mysterious, yea, sometimes. A lot of times no, when you look at a timeline of connected events. The problem, is that people don't like the idea that the Lord is influencing events on earth. Especially when "unhappy" things happen. Godless people obviously don't like the idea, but a lot of church goers don't like the idea either. Although when something good happens, they'll pay it lip service. Another problem is recognizing when events are the Lord's hand, and not the devils, or random chance. On top of that, the Lord has no problem using the devil to accomplish his ends. The devil may be clever, but he's not smart enough to know when he's being used. None of the above is any reflection on the gentleman from Jawja.

Kellyanne Conway gave us a term that encompasses Republican thought and action : Alternative Facts. Once that concept is named and embraced, it destroys the very notion of truth. For Trump and those who support him, the truth is now whatever he says. There is no longer an objective reality. Trump's wrecking ball, Elon Musk, is dismantling government willy nilly. The idea of the Law is fading. The world's greatest con man and his clown car cabinet can do whatever they please. It's 2025, but it's also 1984. Good luck to us all. Bill, when you get scared, you ramble incoherently. Awe, knock yourself out, just go easy on the sauce.
