ted, it has become obvious that you do not understand nor have ever actually read the 14th amendment...

to start you off, here is an objective overview provided by Google...

The 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees citizenship and equal protection under the law to all people born or naturalized in the United States. It was ratified in 1868.
What does the 14th Amendment do?
Citizenship
Grants citizenship to all people born or naturalized in the United States, including formerly enslaved people
Equal protection
Prohibits states from denying equal protection under the law to anyone within their jurisdiction
Due process
Prohibits states from depriving anyone of life, liberty, or property without due process of law
Voting rights
Authorizes the government to reduce a state's representation in Congress if it abridges citizens' right to vote
Office holding
Prohibits people who engaged in insurrection against the United States from holding certain offices
Public debt
Prohibits questioning the validity of the United States' public debt

Per usual, you just read the part you liked and skipped the part about foreign sovereignty.

As in, if the parents owe allegiance to any sovereignty not the US, great big no-go on citizenship for the kid.

Who has trouble with comprehension?

AMENDMENT XIV

Section 1.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Section 2.
Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

Section 3.
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Section 4.
The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Section 5.
The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Why, why do you penalize the kid? What is wrong with the child? Does the child not have rights of its own? Are its only rights the rights of its parents? If so, it is not a person, it just an extension of a person.

What do you hope to gain by this penalizing? Satisfaction, I guess, that you have stepped on another person, albeit and infant, and kicked it to the curb? What does this do for you?

Such strange behavior to hate an child. I suspect it is just because most of them tend to be heavily pigmented these days. What else can it be?

exceptions to the 14th amendment...as provided by Google...

The 14th Amendment's Citizenship Clause has a few exceptions, including children born to diplomats, children born to alien enemies, and children of Native Americans. ..

no where does the amendment make other exclusions pertaining to birth right citizenship...

if one is born here, they are a citizen of the United States...

“Subject to the jurisdiction of “ refers to people who have the responsibility of citizenship, in the United States, and not elsewhere.

If you are here Illegally, it is prima facia evidence that you are subject to the jurisdiction of somewhere else.

The amendment was very narrowly aimed at freed slaves after the civil war, to grant them citizenship after they were no longer chattel.

If your parents are legal, they can stay here and raise you. Otherwise, not so much.

ted, as you deny the 14th amendment guarantees birthright citizenship to all born here and you have failed to define where else birthright citizenship is guaranteed in the constitution, then one must conclude, that from your perspective, there is no constitutional guarantee of the right of birthright citizenship?

and as for much of your posts above, you have come to legal conclusions, that are not supported by legislation nor judicial action...

aka, making stuff up...
