With the recent developments in Canada, and other places where the leftist agenda is being repudiated, (looking at you, Eastern Europe) I am hopeful for better days across the world.

Just engaged in a little sleight of hand to buy time and try to salvage power for his party. Lawsuits about his actions have been filed and while his expulsion from power is inevitable, the idiosyncrasies of our system means the next leader of the Liberal Party will automatically become PM. The question then becomes how fast do they get forced into an election. That's the thing they are trying desperately to avoid. An election. And it's always the Right that gets accused of being bad for democracy.

Ted I'm looking at Javier Milei of Argentina as my current political ideal. He's someone both Trump and our next conservative PM, Pierre Poilievre, should look to for inspiration. A very appropriate quote from Milei a year into his term......"My contempt for the State is infinite" .
