Not to rub it in, or anything, but the low yesterday morning when I was shooting those woodies was 42 degrees (+42, that is) and drizzling rain. I was pass shooting them as they flew up a creek to get to their "day place", and easily a hundred came over me.There's no way to pick out drakes before shooting in low light like that. The only thing I can do is look for the biggest woodie in the drove. Often that is a drake. I was lucky yesterday in that I picked right three times.
