U sed Jack Richardson at Northeastern but he passed away. It is now Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services. anyone have any experience with them? Are there any better and cheaper options? Right now my bill for 2025 is $509.00 for $153,000 and a $250 deductible.
Any input is appreciated I have a couple of weeks to renew.

I doubt you'll find much price difference between Gallagher Risk Management and Gun & Trophy since both are agents for Hanover Insurance Group.

I just renewed my Gun & Trophy policy for $100,001 for a yearly $283 premium. Coverage for one item is limited to $10,000. Deductible is $500. Coverage includes replacement or repair and covers loss of value. Covers guns, accessories and trophies anywhere in the world, meaning shipping and travel losses are included. This means that if you buy and sell several guns a year you save enough on shipping insurance a year to cover the policy premium.
They cater to the PGCA group and most of the people there seem to like them and utilize their services. Feed back seems to be very positive.

I believe you can insure guns over 10k in value with Gun & Trophy but you need to declare those items.

I've had Eastern Group for years. Never had a claim. I recall at one time more than a handful of folks here used them. Gil

Yes on insuring guns over $10,000 at guns and trophy you just have to declare them by serial number and value.

I use Cole. I've had one claim on a gun lost in shipping and they paid up, minus the $500 deductible and the $100 that UPS PAID. Now I insure with the shipper for $500 to cover the deductible.
