Thanks Stan,
I haven’t got that book, but when I was looking for loading information Michael Carrick very kindly airmailed me copies of the sections on the calibre and loading information and they have been very useful.

I know nothing about them, but I thought it was kind of cool. Lump of coal in the stocking: Hit a deer... ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/kBrLl2f.jpeg) That should buff right out!! Nice decoy.

A Valmet 212 combo gun. In 222 Rem/ 12ga, it's been in firearm prison for a week. I pick it up today, give it a good cleaning and mount the scope. Sight it tomorrow and harass coyotes and quail next week.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Like new Walther PP in 32 ACP, box, two mags and all paperwork. Now I can play James Bond. Although the dialogue calls for a PPK, in the movie the actual pistol was a PP.

Thanks for the PP connection to James Bond. I have a nice PP .32 I was gifted by a friend. I haven't shot it, but have a boatload of ammo.

Not in my stocking, but my oldest son's. I gave him my late fathers 1911 that he brought back from WWII. Well worn, used but not abused and a direct link to his grandfather. Explained that he was to pass it on to his son when he is ready. Fine gun, that I was happy to pass on. That gun was always loaded, and my father never locked his door. Different mindset. Take it if you dare.

Mine is always loaded, too. Hammer back, cocked and locked, or Condition One.
But, my doors are always locked, too. Different world than then.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

My 5 year old grandson’s gifts brought an apparent breakthrough. He didn’t know it but I’d been listening to him these past months and under the tree for him was a leather belt with a scaled down western buckle and a pocket knife with his name engraved in the walnut scales. When he opened them he started jumping around the living room saying, “Mom. Mom. I got a belt. I got a knife. Now I can go to church.”
Who knew? 😂
