![[Linked Image from thumbs2.imgbox.com]](https://thumbs2.imgbox.com/9f/35/a993jQ8x_t.jpg) Fanzoj's New & Improved Kipplauf platform. I guess this is the new Gold Standard. Must be a lot of dangerous game in Austria?? Serbus, Raimey rse

I failed to mentioned the Kipplauf is chambered in David Tubb's 33XC. Can you image touching off that beast in an underground range?

What a beast! The end of the pistol grip looks a bit...saggy. Bet it could pick chamois off mountains at a fair range!

Yeah, although I haven't been read in on it, to me it looks like a Bastard Hunting Platform that maybe the Clampets would shoot gnats on Molasses @ 500 paces. Although there is a very strong connection between military weapons, cartridges & the origins of Big Game chasing, I think each should stay in his(her) corner. So I am going to get my Porter / Gun Bearer to hold this long tube w/ associated muzzle break on the back of the ATV and ride to the blind, duck or deer?
It is a bit out of place & a marriage that maybe should not have been?

Although I am a custodian of a Drilling chambered in 9,3X62, I consider that to be a bit much? And like Ford has stated time & again, you really do not want a cartridge without a Rim in a tip-up gun.

The maximum range shot permitted in the Bavarian Alps was 300 meters (200 in non-mountain areas) so a 1000+ yard chamois rifle is unnecessary. The rifle seems to be an impressive advertisement of rifle building skills and materials rather than a Kipplaufbuesche for mountain hunting (light, lively, and quick) or a single shot rifle for precision sniper use (bolt action for stiffness, large caliber for range, muzzle brake for recoil reduction, bipod, dull no-flash finish for concealment, long stiff barrel for ballistics and accuracy). It reminds me of building a Bently pulpwood truck. Mike

Ford: You must live in High Cotton all year around on Riverview Time as I have seen a lot of log trucks, AutoCar, etc. but never a Bentley of Bentley Motors. But I guess if you are cuttin' the Best Logs, you might as well have the Best. Headed to a local sawmill right now & I will see if they have a Bentley...

IMHO, that is a ridiculous piece of hardware with no useful purpose. Using a short single barrel design with a large scope, bipod, long compensator and a weight that has to be well up in the double digit weight range is ridiculous. The first reason is that after a careful setup, the second shot may take a minute to make with reloading and re-setup being in the equation.

Speaking of Bentleys, how about this beauty I saw down at my boat club..... Just because you can doesn't mean you should... ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/c6XnQwR.jpg)
