One of the tools looks like what is left of a Turnscrew after Bubba has used it as a leaver the crack in the handle making that obvious, also bending the blade causing the hardened section of the blade end to break off on one side. The other tool with the hole I would say it is a fired cartridge extractor having a hole to take the pin with the shaft bent such a wat to miss the hammers .
The only lessons in my life I truly did learn from where the ones I paid for!

Damascus, thanks for your thoughts. I think you could be correct on both counts. The one thing that threw me off a bit was the way the case's "nest" for the turnscrew was made with the tip not square with the shaft.
