After looking at all the suggestions I'm angling towards the Boreal Mountain gaitors made in Canada. My only concern is they maybe too warm on a hot day and how they will stand up walking through thorn and briar patches. For all those suggesting snake prof gaitors we have very limited venomous snakes in very limited places in western Canada. Where I hunt they don't exist or they have already hibernated.
