I am the happy (pending delivery!) purchaser of what seems to be a NIB left handed .243 Hawkeye.

The British proof mark appears to be dated 2013.

The auctioneer describes the finish as “matt black”.

The bolt appears to be stainless steel.

My question is, for the barrel and action did Ruger do separate production runs for stainless and blued models, or were they all machined from stainless and the blued models hard black chromed or similar?

Just curious as either way I am happy with my purchase.
